Yeouido(여의도)

Yeouido is an island in the Han river. The name meant something like "worthless island", but it is no longer true: Yeouido has some of the most expensive real estate in the city now. Land reclamation is slowly connecting the island to the southern bank of the Han, so that in fact it is no longer an island. Towards the other side, there is a large shorefront park, which is one of the recreational areas in the city. (Cycling is popular among Koreans here.) But apart from that, it is full of office towers
