Namsan, the "South Mountain", is a mountain inside the city of Seoul, but south of the historical center. You can access it from Myeong-Dong, the central shopping district near Namdaemun gate. There is a cable car leading up the mountain, and on the top, you find N-Seoul tower, a telecommunications tower. There are restaurants and other facilities around, and there are light shows and artistic displays. The view from the tower observation deck is great, but the window panes are dirty and full of reflections from the interior lighting
