Inwangsa (인왕사)

Inwangsa is a shamanist temple on the lower ranges of Mt. Bukhan, north of Seoul. You get there from Gupabal station. Shamanism is a minority religion in Korea - the two big ones are Christianity and Buddhism - and it is somehow similar to Japanese Shinto. Inwangsa temple is not a closed compound, like Buddhist temples, but a collection of buildings and other sites in a foresty and hilly area
