Waterholes are a good opportunity to watch animals and the interaction between different species - especially during the dry periods, all animals need to visit waterholes regularly. There are plenty of waterholes across the national park, natural and artificial ones, and each of the three camp sites has a waterhole attached. These provide the only opportunities to visit animals from dusk till dawn - you have to be inside the gates between sunset and sunrise.
