Twyfelfontein

Twyfelfontein is the site of an abandoned farm where the water supply was not reliable (the name means "doubtful fountain"). It is famous for prehistoric rock carvings and a nearby petrified forest, but we saw both on the last tour to Namibia and decided to use Twyfelfontein only as a stopover because we liked the lodge on our last visit. This time however, we did not enjoy it as much. The lodge and the food were still good, but the atmosphere was different
