Another thing I like about Kuala Lumpur is the design and architecture. Kuala Lumpur is designed as a garden city, with open spaces in various areas, but packed with skyscrapers in between. There are ambitious buildings like the famous Petronas twin towers, but the views never get boring, it changes wherever you look.

Even routine buildings such as a series of office towers outside the city, or rows after rows of chinese town houses, never look boring. That is really something I admire: there are people who can plan an entire suburb consisting of rows after rows of the same houses, and yet if you drive through the suburb you never have the feeling that it looks boring or repetitive.
