This Boeing 727 was donated to the museum by FedEx, who had just retired it (together with the pilot). The plane had been on the way for a couple of days with several stops, not because it has such a lousy reach but because it is so old they needed to check it several times.
There was a big party in the booth next to ours, with some important guys from FedEx attending, and they'd even got John Travolta (who is a pilot himself and came in his own plane, an old Qantas 707) as some kind of speaker.
