Masjid Jamek
This is the Kuala Lumpur. The place where the Gombak river flows into the Klang river. "Kuala" is an estuary, and "lumpur" means "dirty", which is a natural state for tropical rivers after leaving the jungle. I suspect that name was meant as a joke by the founders of KL. Nowadays, there is a mosque in that exact location (actually, a very picturesque one, the Masjid Jamek or Friday Mosque) but originally, Kuala Lumpur was a chinese mining town.
