A wineyard in Namibia. The idea to grow wine in a water-starved desert country like Namibia seems crazy at first. But where there is a desert, there is an oasis. Five artesian springs feed streams and ponds, and provide water for wines, palm trees, reed and so on. The drive to Neuras, in particular using D roads, goes through some spectacular formations on top of some canyons. Neuras also has a few guest rooms and is certainly a good place to stay
