The Etosha national park is a large fenced-in area (more than 22.000 square km) around the so-called Etosha pan, a large salt basin. Gravel roads cross the park through different types of landscape (the map lists around 20 landscape types), and there are three camps about 80km apart from each other. We chose to stay in the waterhole chalets at Okaukuejo this time, which in our opinion is the nicest of the three camps.
