Bulguksa is a temple about 10-12 km from Gyeongju. It is one of the oldest temples in Korea, and after reconstruction it is now a world heritage site. Bulguksa can easily reached by bicycle, following scenic routes along rice paddies, or along lake Bomun. The temple is on a mountain flank, which means that there are some good views.
