Cabo De Gata
|Cabo De Gata
Cabo de Gata is the cape at the southeastern corner of Spain, where the south coast turns into the east coast. The whole area is very dry (they shot Italo-Westerns farther inland), but near the actual cape there are salt marshes. A natural park has been declared in this area and the salt marshes are home to many birds (temporarily - a lot of the birds are migratory). It is also a popular summer holiday destination
