This is Saen Saeb canal near Siam Square. This canal goes in east-west-direction from Banglampoo to Thonglor and Ekamai. If there are a lot of passenger boats on this canal, it may be a good option to reach the city center from Khao San Road (and vice versa) - I have to investigate. It joins the canal on the other picture near the golden mound.
