Here you see the smashing mantis sitting in its lair. It was already dark (and my flash battery emtpy), so the picture is a bit grainy. I guess the huge eyes indicate that this is a nightly lurker. In the front you can see the spear arms, cocked like a crossbow bolt waiting to be released.
